Cafe life

I have been frequenting a number of cafes recently, with life saving Internet properties. They provide points of contact and I posted Cafe of the Day on my Twitter account. This is a Spanish cafe in Valencia de Alcantara.

Wild pigs have been invading our garden, but here is the tame variety, very friendly and cute.  It's cold now and I think they're looking to make nests.  

Dog Abroad

An image created using Art Rage App on the Ipad I have hopes of designing some of the graphic novel  using this device, there is also a comic app that allows me to insert text and speech bubbles, will have to get writing more quickly. 

The Castle of Marvao above the clouds and Cactus plants in the sun.  I am going to attempt some landscape painting, alongside the graphic novel.

I have a growing interest in the character of the Midnight Robber, a Carnival figure who robs and sweet-talks passers by with outrageous stories, placing the money in a small coffin.  I also like the Book Man, who notes down souls for the  Devil and Baby Doll, who carries a doll and accuses everyone of being its father.

The Private View of REWIND went well, thanks to all those who attended, there's a second chance to see this great show at Lewisham Art House's Open Studios next weekend http://www.lewishamarthouse.org.uk

The result of a bookmaking course at the Saatchi Gallery, a great day out.  I hope they're doing more of these workshops.
